The ancient market town of Wareham is situated on the River Frome looking across the marshland to the beautiful hills of the Isle of Purbeck. The quay itself is at the southern edge of the little town and has a collection of quaint old buildings including a very old granary. You can hop on a boat to take you down to Poole Harbour from here or just simply sit and watch the world go by with the swans!
