The harbour wall in Lyme Regis or "Cobb" as it is known locally is famous not only for it's appearance in Jane Austen's "Persuasion" and Jon Fowles' "The French Lieutenant's Woman", but also because it forms part of one of the prettiest harbours on the south coast of England.
