Cerne Abbas, or more precisely Abbey Street in Cerne Abbas was such a joy to paint. The whole village nesstles amongst the verdant Dorset countryside and offers an eclectic mix of architectural styles with a lovely Church, Abbey, and quite a few pubs! And of course keeping guard over it all is the famous chalk figure of the Cerne Abbas Giant.
