Katherine was born in the heart of textile rich Yorkshire, Northern England, and with a love of design, creativity and passion for textiles, building a successful business from this, was inevitable.
The heart of Katherine's passions have come from recycling, sustainability and the repurposing of fabrics and wools where ever possible. Reducing landfill and waste being paramount.
Each item is carefully created by hand and individually by Katherine alone, ensuring standards remain high, every item is kept ethical, artisanal and unique.
After a move to France in early 2014, Dizzy & Co Designs was established in January 2016 and in November 2019, Katherine opened her first shop in nearby St Claud.
Returning to the UK after 7 years, Katherine is continuing to develop and grow her mixed media art and crafts and can be found at online and markets.
And the name? Dizzy the westie dog, faithful friend, lady with "Westitude" and constant companion.
